Elizabeth Phinney has been a Certified Personal Trainer with the American Council on Exercise since the year 2000. She also holds Specialty Certifications in Fitness Nutrition, Older Adult Fitness and Weight Management with ACE. She holds a Certificate of Completion with the American Senior Fitness Association and has been an affiliate member of the American College of Sports Medicine since 2005.
Her most recent published book is Thrive to 95 and Beyond Taking Control of Your Aging Journey. The book takes the reader on a journey of unexplored attitudes and concepts about how to take control of your physical future and plan for your physical retirement. Her approach is practical yet thought provoking. It is a mind, body, spirit guide to your future health and quality of life.
Elizabeth has also participated in three anthologies: The Expert Success Solution, and Shining a Light on Grief – Books One and Two.
Since the year 2000, she has been developing and fine tuning a multitude of fitness techniques and theories that are successfully practiced. Not only has she spent thousands of hours helping people get stronger and more flexible, she has helped slow down, stop and reverse aging issues that had plagued many for years.
Her flagship product is BodSpir®, a meditative strength training technique she created and has taught through the years in her classes and one-on-one personal training. Other programs include The F.I.T. Workshop™ (Fitness Inspiration Transformation) – a weekend retreat – and Your Personal BodSpir® C.A.R.E. Package (Consultation, Assessment, Recommendation based on her Evaluation.)
